The Energy Regulators Association of East Africa (EREA) has planned to have its 14th EREA Annual General Assembly (AGA) in Bujumbura-Burundi on 24th June 2022 at the Royal Palace Hotel. The session’s main objective is to evaluate the progress implementation of the Action plans, consider and approve the Budget proposal for FY2022/23, consider and approve the Action Plans for FY2022/23, approve Policy Papers, admit new members, receive the Audited Financial Reports for FY2020/21 and consider the action plans for the Energy Regulation Centre of Excellence(ERCE).
The session will be preceded by the meetings of all the organs as indicated below:

The meeting will be attended by all the stakeholders in the energy sector from the East African Community(EAC) such National Regulatory Institutions of EAC, COMESA, EAC, EAPP-IRB, Ministries, World Bank and African Development Bank.
