The Semi-Annual Meetings of EREA from 17 – 25 January 2019, Zanzibar-Tanzania

The 16th Meeting of Executive Committee(EXCO) of the Energy Regulators Association of East Africa shall take place from 17^th – 25^th January 2019 at the MADINAT AL BAHAR Hotel in Zanzibar-Tanzania. This is the second meeting to be hosted by Zanzibar Utilities Regulatory Authority (ZURA) since becoming a full member of EREA in August 2017.

Delegates to the meetings are the National Regulatory Institutions, namely, AREEN – Burundi, ERC – Kenya, RURA – Rwanda, ERA – Uganda, EWURA – Tanzania, and the Zanzibar Utilities Regulatory Authority of Zanzibar (ZURA), PAU-Uganda, and PURA-Tanzania.

During the five-day meetings shall consider progress implementation of the activities of the Association in the last six months. A number of reports will be considered, including, status of implementation of previous decisions of the 15^th EXCO meeting held on 31^st May 2018 in Kampala, Uganda; implementation of the activities of the Portfolio Committees; and the Secretariat report.

The semi-annual meetings, are back-back through the session of Portfolio Committees (EPC, LPC and TPC) on 17-22 January 2019; followed by meetings of EXCO Sub-Committees (CFA, SPHRC) meetings on 23-24 January 2019, and finally the 16^th meeting of EXCO on 25^th January 2019.

During the meetings, delegates shall have an opportunity to critically review progress implementation of EREA Action Plan during the last two quarters in FY2018/19. Please down a detailed program for the EREA meetings.
