Webinar on Future of Oil and Gas and Regional Integration East African

Africa is endowed with vast natural resources. The EAC region has been at the forefront to harness the resources to improve the EAC economies’ economic welfare. Amidst the likely long-term effects of COVID-19, numerous projects have been undertaken at an accelerated speed. Therefore, it is imperative that in tandem with the project implementation progress, fiscal incentives that allow fair and equitable taxation and promoting conducive investment are adopted.
The webinar brings leading experts to explore the general impact of global oil prices on Africa, the opportunities and benefits accruing from these sectors, and how it can promote regional integration. Additionally, the experts will explore available robust transfer pricing legislation for EAC. The experts include Mr Ernest Rubondo-CEO, Petroleum Authority of Uganda(PAU), Dr. Carole Nakhle CEO Crystal energy, Mr. Stephen Dow, Senior Lecturer University of Dundee.
