Doing Business with the Energy Regulators Association of East Africa (EREA)
Procurement at EREA is managed by the Supply Chain Management Unit in accordance with Tanzania’s Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and related regulations. These laws promote transparency, competition, and value for money.
EREA publishes tender notices inviting eligible suppliers to express interest in delivering goods, works, or services. Submissions are evaluated based on defined criteria in the tender documents. Successful bidders are included in EREA’s approved supplier list for a specified period.
When needs arise, Requests for Quotations (RFQs) are issued to pre-qualified vendors to submit competitive bids—ensuring integrity, efficiency, and fairness in the procurement process.
